Geotech Parsar Phase 1
One usable tool in four weeks: upload a geotechnical report, extract soil parameters into your HPD format, and ask questions grounded in the reports provided for training.

01 · The problem
Every geotechnical report is manually reduced before design starts.
Engineers read 25-80 page PDFs, pull soil strata, depth ranges, SPT N-values, shear strength, friction angle, and unit weight into an HPD spreadsheet. It is repetitive, slow, and easy to transpose.

Phase 1 does not replace the engineer. It gives them a structured, verifiable starting point in minutes instead of an hour.

02 · Phase 1 solution
Geotech Parsar + Ask AI
Geotech Parsar
Upload any geotechnical PDF
Extracts soil strata, depth ranges, classifications, SPT N-values, undrained shear strength, friction angle, and unit weight. Returns a structured table matching your HPD column format.
Ask AI
Search training reports
Index the geotechnical reports Cyntech provides for the pilot and ask plain-language questions. Answers are grounded only in those documents, not general knowledge.
Phase 1 runs through a simple, private web portal in an Oction-managed cloud environment only. Cloud inference tokens are billed directly to Cyntech at cost. No hardware purchase. No localized cluster. No multi-year commitment. A localized, on-premise cluster is scoped only for the full-build phase, not Phase 1.

03 · What Phase 1 includes
A finite, four-week deliverable
DeliverableWhat it does
Geotech ParsarUpload a PDF; extract soil parameters into a structured table.
HPD-Ready OutputCopy-paste ready table aligned to your existing HPD spreadsheet.
Training Report SearchIndex the reports Cyntech provides for the pilot and ask questions scoped to those documents.
Engineer Review GateEvery extraction waits for engineer confirmation before it is used.
Private Web PortalSimple internal portal for upload, review, and search.
Benchmark Report10 representative Cyntech geotechnical reports processed; the Geotech Parsar must achieve at least 85% field-level accuracy vs. the manual reference before handover.
Knowledge TransferOne-hour training session for up to 5 engineers.

04 · Out of scope
Phase 1 is intentionally narrow
Structural drawing parser
Pile quantity, spacing, and takeoff automation are future phases.
HPD calculation engine
Capacity calculations and LPile integration are not included.
Proposal generation
MCE, RFQ, and fast-track proposal automation are not included.
Heat maps / computer vision
Spatial visualization and CV models are not included.
CRM integration
Ignite or other CRM sync is not included.
On-premise / localized cluster
Phase 1 is cloud-hosted only. A localized cluster is reserved for the full-build phase, not this pilot.
Multi-year commitment
90-day retainer, then month-to-month with 30 days notice.
Scope discipline is what keeps Phase 1 at $22,000 and four weeks.

05 · Return on investment
Phase 1 pays for itself in under five months
Geotech Parsar reduces each report from 60–125 minutes of manual reduction to 9–13 minutes of review. The engineer remains in control; the system does the transcription and search.

Payback at $31K Phase 1 investment

Maximum loss if Cyntech stops after Phase 1 is ~$31,000. Cyntech keeps the working portal and all data regardless of whether any future phase proceeds.

07 · Timeline
Four weeks from signature to benchmark
Week 0
Signature
Proposal signed, payment received, cloud environment scoped.
Week 1
Provision
Cloud environment configured, software deployed, report samples provided.
Week 2
Tune
Parser tuned to Cyntech formats, HPD output validated.
Week 3
Index
Training reports indexed, 10-report benchmark run, parser tuned until 85% field accuracy is met.
Week 4
Handover
Benchmark report delivered. Handover proceeds only after the 85% accuracy gate is cleared.

Go/no-go at Week 4 is a business decision, not a technical cliff. Cyntech keeps the portal and data either way.

08 · Trust
Hallucination controls built in
01
Document-grounded
All outputs come from the uploaded PDF or indexed training reports. No general-knowledge guessing.
02
Structured output
Soil parameters are returned in a fixed schema. Missing fields are flagged, not invented.
03
Confidence scoring
Every field gets a confidence score; low-confidence fields are highlighted.
04
Source references
Output shows the page and table where each parameter came from.
05
Human review gate
Engineer confirmation is required before any extraction flows downstream.
06
Benchmark validation
10 reports compared to manually extracted reference data. The Geotech Parsar must hit 85% field-level accuracy before handover.
